Vishwa Navkar Maha Mantra Divas was celebrated globally on 9th April 2025 under Jain saints' guidance and JITO leadership, aiming to foster peace and unity through collective Navkar Mantra chanting. The Prime Minister’s address became a defining moment, praising Jain values and urging adoption of 9 Resolutions rooted in Jain principles for global harmony.

Under the stellar leadership of JITO Ahmedabad Chairman Shri Rushabh Patel, Sr. Vice Chairman Shri Rajeev Chhajer, Vice Chairmen Shri Charul Vakta, Shri Vaibhav Shah and Shri Piyush Jain, Chief Secretary Shri Manish Shah, Treasurer Shri Shital Shah and Conveners Shri Asit Shah (Imm. Past Chairman, Jito Ahmedabad) & Shri Bhadresh Shah, meticulously organized the event, supported by 14 preparatory meetings with 4,000 attendees across Jain sects. Key gatherings at Dinesh Hall included dignitaries like Home Minister Shri Harsh Sanghvi, Mayor Smt. Pratibha Jain, MLA Amita Shah and MLA Kaushik Jain.

30,000 invitations and 65,000 passes ensured organized participation, while 400 consecrated kalash served as spiritual focal points, later returned to Sanghs. Promotions spanned hoardings, banners and digital campaigns, amplified by media coverage. Over 300 volunteers managed logistics, aiding a record 25,000 devotees at Ahmedabad’s GMDC Ground. Specialized committees handled VIP arrangements, transport, security, and legal permissions, supported by firefighting and cybersecurity teams. Innovations included 11 LED screens, drone coverage and 350 dedicated buses.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel, Chairman, Torrent Group, Shri Sudhir Mehta (Emeritus), MLA Shri Amit Shah, and Mayor Smt. Pratibha Jain were honoured, while Shri Rushabh Patel expressed gratitude and sought blessings. Past Chairman Shri Ganpatraj Chowdhary highlighted JEAP and JATF initiatives for education and civil services aspirants. Shri Sudhir Mehta stated the importance of divine Navkar mantra. The event concluded with collective chanting and distribution of sacred offerings (Navkarwali, Rakshapotli, Bhatu & Prabhavna) and boiled water provision for Ayambil Oli observers. A special philatelic cover commemorating Lord Parshvanath’s 2800th Nirvana Kalyanak was released and presented to the Chief Minister on Vishwa Navkar Mahamantra Divas.

Chief Secretary Shri Manish Shah thanked participants, volunteers and sponsors, as JITO Ahmedabad set a global participation benchmark. The event reinforced Jain principles of non-violence and harmony, ensuring their preservation for future generations. This global event aims to inspire worldwide celebrations, marking a transformative step in spiritual unity.
