On 6th January 2025, a splendid and elegant New Year dinner was hosted by Dr. Sandip Shah and his wife Dr. Bhavini Shah at their magnificent farmhouse-cum-residence in Nasmed, located in the northwest of Ahmedabad, in Gandhinagar District. This generous gesture was part of a well-coordinated initiative led by Chapter Chairman Shri Rushabh Patel and his team to welcome the New Year. The hosts’ enthusiasm is believed to inspire other members to organize similar events in the future. The event brought together over 250 distinguished guests, including FCP members, trustees of four JITO projects—JATF, JITO Hostel, JEAP and Shraman Arogyam—along with members of the Steering Committee, Apex members and the Managing Committee, all accompanied by their spouses. The occasion was graced by the presence of notable figures such as Past Chairman, Apex, Shri Ganpatraj ji Chowdhary, Apex Vice Chairman Shri Himanshu Shah, Gujarat Zone Chairman Shri Sanjeev Chhajer, Chapter Chairman Shri Rushabh Patel and their respective teams, lending further prestige to the gathering. Set against a breathtaking landscape, the venue exuded charm with its expansive lawns, tranquil lake and an array of beautifully adorned plants, all illuminated by halogen lights and diyas beneath the starlit sky. The ethereal floral photobooth and candlelit decor enhanced the ambience, offering an inviting backdrop for meaningful conversations and networking. Live performances, including soothing keyboard melodies by Prarthana Mehta and soulful renditions by singer Akshat Parikh, renowned for coaching the Bandish Bandits cast, added a touch of magic to the evening. The dinner served as an exceptional platform for networking, allowing new FCP members to connect with seasoned members, fostering personal and professional relationships. This interaction aligned with the event’s goal of strengthening existing bonds and establishing new ones within the community. Guests were treated to a delightful gastronomic experience, with live counters serving a variety of starters, soups and main courses, all of which were well-received and enjoyed by the attendees. Members celebrated Shri Amit Banthia’s birthday, Vice President of JATF and wished him health and prosperity, adding a personal and joyful element to the gathering. The Chairman and the entire team expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Sandip Shah and Dr. Bhavini Shah for their gracious hospitality and flawless arrangements. As a gesture of appreciation, the hosts were presented with a memento, symbolizing the event’s memorable nature.
